A large plot of about 7.5 ha. has been earmarked as Convention & Exhibition Centre in ‘G’ Block of Bandra-Kurla Complex. MMRDA has decided to develop the Convention Centre by inviting bids. The last date of receipt of the bids is 17th January 2006.

The Convention and Exhibition Centre with total 65000 sq.m. built up area will provide:

• Exhibition space of 25,000sq.mts. having 5 exhibition halls,
• Convention Auditorium of 2000 capacity with simultaneous interpretation systems and state of the art audio-visual equipment,
• Convention and Banquet space which will include a number of small conference halls, board rooms, VVIP lounges, to accommodate about 1500 persons and
• Related support facilities.
