The plans have been approved by MCGM and Railways consultants to finalise the GAD and revised Bid document for Borivali, Ghatkopar, Chembur & Dadar Railway has also agreed to share the project cost 50:50 (railway works) under MUIP formula.
Due to delay in the finalisation of GAD and Bid documents, the consultants appointed by MMRDA are not co-operating to give the final / revised GAD and Bid documents. The consultants arrears of payments and additional payment for revised GAD and revised bid documents need to be agreed to ensure their commitment. However they are being pursued through personal contracts. Rehabilitation & Resettlement of commercial PAPs is yet to be finalised. MCGM has suggested that MMRDA should take up the implementation of the project considering the complexities.
